ARM 2025, organized by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions Org. in collaboration with Dubai Health Authority, presented a newly established category of recognition for the best poster presentation. This award was chosen in response to the exceptional quality of the contributions that appeared this year.

X-nuclei Meeting 2025

In addition to the European Society MR meeting (ESMRMB 20025), Marseille also hosted the X-Nuclei User Meeting for MR users of nuclei other than hydrogen. The organizing Center for MR in Biology and Medicine (CRMBM) in Marseille also celebrated its 40th anniversary this year! Congratulations and many more successful years.

46th Czech Radiological Congress in Olomouc

At this year’s 46th Czech Radiological Congress in Olomouc, held from September 21 to 23, 2025, members of our team achieved significant successes.

5. Wallachian Seminar “Development of Molecular Probes for Magnetic Resonance and Optical Imaging”

On June 2-4, 2025, members of the IKEM experimental magnetic resonance group participated in the traditional international seminar 5th Wallachian Seminar “Development of Molecular Probes for Magnetic Resonance and Optical Imaging”, which took place in Valašské Klobouky. The seminar focused on the development and application of diagnostic and therapeutic molecular probes for magnetic resonance and optical imaging.

Not only good news has its place here. There is one less of us, on Friday, May 2, 2025, a member of our team, Martin Burian, left us forever.

Mouflons are again "born" in IKEM

The Prague IKEM is not only a top medical center, but also an unexpected home for mouflons. These wild animals regularly breed in the Institute of Clinical and Experimental Medicine and have become its unofficial residents. You can now see the newborn cubs while walking around the premises, and they have also returned to us for an MRI scan, where you can see them from the glass-enclosed waiting room :-)

European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM)

From March 11–14, 2025, our experimental MR group, consisting of Andrea Gálisová, Michal Franc, Dominik Havlíček, and Daniel Jirák, participated in the 20th anniversary edition of the prestigious European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM).

ECR 2025 Planet radiology

At the turn of February/March, our colleague MUDr. Mgr. Petr Šedivý, Ph.D., participated in the European Radiology Congress ECR 2025 Planet Radiology in Vienna, where he presented our results on the diagnosis of MASH using a combination of MR spectroscopy and other non-invasive clinical parameters, employing advanced statistical methods based on machine learning.

Během tohoto léta máme dvě hlavní slavnostní události, které se týkají členů naší skupiny. Petr Šedivý dokončil Lékařskou fakultu UK a ke svým titulům Mgr. a Ph.D. přidal i MUDr. Druhým naším oslavencem je Dan Jirák. Ten pro změnu postoupil na vyšší úroveň v pedagogických titulech a stal se z něj profesor biofyziky na Lékařské fakultě UK. Oběma přejeme hodně úspěchů a spokojenosti.
