PZM – expMR IKEM is organizing the international Wallachian seminar “Development of Molecular Probes for Magnetic Resonance and Optical Imaging.” This year’s seminar will focus on “Multifunctional Nanoparticles in MRI Diagnostics and Targeted Therapy.”

The workshop is intended primarily for researchers and students involved in experimental imaging methods, including optical imaging and magnetic resonance imaging (1H, 11B, 19F, 23Na, 31P), as well as in the development of contrast agents for visualizing cells and transplanted tissue using these imaging modalities. The program will also include tutorial lectures, which this year will focus on heart diseases and theranostic assessment. All lectures will be held in English.
In addition to the traditional participating groups from IKEM (Prof. Jirák), the Academy of Sciences/BIOCEV (Dr. Laga), and Charles University (Dr. Sedláček), the workshop will also host guests from other institutions, including Palacký University Olomouc (Dr. Šišková).
The workshop is supported by ACCELA and BRUKER.
