European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM)

From March 11–14, 2025, our experimental MR group, consisting of Andrea Gálisová, Michal Franc, Dominik Havlíček, and Daniel Jirák, participated in the 20th anniversary edition of the prestigious European Molecular Imaging Meeting (EMIM).

This year’s conference was the largest in its history, providing us with a unique opportunity to engage with leading experts in molecular imaging and discuss the latest advancements in the field.

Our group presented three contributions at the conference:

19F/31P MRI-labeled extracellular vesicles as a drug delivery system

Development of new contrast agents for 1H/19F MRI based on star-shaped polymers

Application of newly developed 19F MRI tracers for mesenchymal stem cell labeling

Beyond the scientific program, we also took some time to explore the beauties of Bilbao! We visited the iconic Guggenheim Museum, where we admired its stunning architecture and fascinating exhibitions. Additionally, we experienced the vibrant atmosphere of a football match at San Mamés Stadium, home to the local club Athletic Bilbao.
