ESMRMB 2024

The 40th Annual Scientific meeting of the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB) was held in Barcelona this year. And we were there too.

The main topic this year was theranostics, i.e. the connection of therapy with diagnostics (perspective of drug mentoring from the method development and application). Milan Hájek was invited for the opening plenary lecture for more than 700 congress participants, which we are quite proud of.

But the other members of our MR group also represented very well. This year we received 8 contributions related to the studies we are working on at IKEM, and Monika Dezortová moderated the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy: clinical applications section. There was no shortage of discussions even outside the allotted time.
